British Gas Service

Investigated and resolved the poor performance of the SCT Customer Information System (SCMS). An overnight batch run, which had to complete within 5 hours, was overrunning due to the slowness of execution and stalling. Worked closely with production DBAs. Was able to achieve significant reductions in run time allowing the batch job to run within the time window.
