Mercury Interface Project (MIPS)
I was a senior technical member of the development team. The system was responsible for seamlessly managing the movement of data between discrete vital client databases, and was designed to run overnight at pre-arranged times as controlled by data in a control table. One of the aims was to maintain a data warehouse where various systems could have access to needed data.
Name and Address Processing System (NAPS)
I was involved in the development, testing and implementation of this system. The system was designed to implement in-house name and address processing of customer data. In the latter phases of the project, the MIPS system was integrated into NAPS and became part of it. This highly complex system was written mainly in Pro*C that we successfully maintained and improved upon.
